Hahhaaahahaha.
I've used this for years to test speakers and headphones etc, and had never read any of the comments!
They're great! But you can feel the disappointment dripping off some of the comments, that made me a bit sad đ
No,no,no,no! You've all got it wrong! You're all looking at it from entirely the wrong objective!
It's a GREAT policy for property investors which will boost capital growth and provide excellent short term returns!
It's a lot messier than most think.
McBride's intention was not to leak to expose war crimes, it was to show how troops were being unnecessarily hounded by legal etc , ie 'over-zealousâ investigations of special forces'
The ABC discovered war crimes in the leaks and went down that path.
Now McBride looks like the hero being victimised for exposing the war crimes.
Luckily, in the article, the caption underneath the pictures told me which one was actually a photo of Gina, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to tell....

I use the calculator in Ubuntu tor very simple purposes. It was crashing on me every time I opened it.
I tracked down why.
It was trying to get a foreign currency exchange rate file - which I was horrified that you'd think about even having in a calculator.
The reason that was failing? Because I had a VPN enabled.
And it wouldn't even fail gracefully. Nope it would poof, disappear.
The fix is to disable vpn, and disable foreign currency in the preferences.
I was so pissed off. And on the next upgrade the same thing happened, which I'd forgotten all about, so went through it AGAIN!
Every now and then I think 'OK, this time I surely should be able to switch over to Wayland!'
And there's always one application or use case that stops me.
Yeah, I'm on nvidia which hasn't helped either...
Yellow crested cockatoos, galahs etc can be terrorists to trees and shrubs. You can be walking along and on the ground see piles of leaves and little branches and fruit with one bite out of them.
The cockies have very sharp beaks and will just chomp through anything. This includes aerials, cables or anything else they think looks like fun. Sometimes they will even party in your room
Do NOT put your finger near one.
I finally got around to trying it.
From Aldi, I grabbed:
- Choceur Dark Chocolate for $3.79.
- Oh So natural Coconut oil for $4.19
- As an aside, I was surprised to find this 'oil' was totally solid. It had the same consistency as a bar of copha, and I couldn't even put a spoon into it. I had to nuke it in the microwave to get any out.
I used this recipe and used about 1 row and 2 squares from the next row of chocolate (so a little less than a 1/4 of the chocolate) and 2 tsp (10g) of coconut oil. This made enough for 2 serves for me, but I don't drown my ice cream. So, one 200g chocolate would make about 8 serves. And one 300g jar of coconut oil would make about 60 serves.
Now for the important part; how did it look, how was the consistency and taste?
Once it was melted, I used a spoon to drizzle it over my ice cream. It flowed nicely, and after a short while, created a nice shell. I may have added a bit more of this than the usual Ice Magic, so in some spots, it did seem a bit thicker. But a couple of cracks with a spoon and no problem. It looked lush, and the consistency was good.
Now on to the taste. I'm a simple man. I put this over vanilla ice cream. I want to taste vanilla and chocolate. But in some cases there was a definitive taste of coconut. Now, the ratio of chocolate topping to ice cream varies by spoonful to spoonful. There were some spoonfuls I was thinking, "OMG this is soooooo much better. The choccy is delicious, and a very subtle hint of coconut with the vanilla", and other spoonfuls I was thinking "WTF, I get chocolate, but the coconut is obliterating any vanilla in the ice cream! No!"
So, I might experiment with the next batch by cutting back a little on the coconut oil, and see how that goes. The other option is to embrace the coconuty in something different. I'm thinking a white choccy with a coconut might be interesting to try. Seeing as I have about 7 bars of chocolate to buy to get rid of this jar of coconut oil, I can experiment đ
That school should be closed. There is way too much fighting going on.
That was a disturbing watch...
Let's see one of the politicians supporting SMRs put their money where their mouth is, and show their faith and confidence in the technology by proposing that an SMR be built in the suburb they and their family live in.
They've now fixed/reverted it to the old operation.
No doubt because of my scathing post here.
We're all equal.
To borrow from Animal Farm, "We're all equal, but some are more equal than others".
I use old.reddit.com, and had trouble logging in from there today. "Too many redirects". I also use the Redirect to old.reddit.com extension. When I disabled that, the login link it now takes you to is https://www.reddit.com/login/. That, of course, takes you to www.reddit.com.
The old 'popup' login box has been removed. I also noticed that the in sub logins where they used to have username/password entry boxes have been removed.
More reddit enshitification to try and make us use their horrible UI.
Wait, what?
Thanks for the pointers.
Now running lawnchair. Just wish it had app updates via f-droid or store...

Calling out a shit billionaire doesn't make you or your historically just as bad or worse class heroes.
Stop talking and do something about it.
Australian history is littered with corrupt politicians who also think they were, and are, above the law.
I'm gonna have to furiously scrub all my socials so the slaughterbots can't target me!

He's passed EVERY test. He's more Aussie than anyone I know!
Ok I have a confession to make. I often don't put tomato sauce on things that are expected required by Aussies to have tomato sauce. It's a shameful thing, and I don't want to talk about that.
But, sometimes I must have tomato sauce. The bottle is almost empty, and after upgrading my BBQ sauce and Mayo, surely there is a great bang for the buck tomato sauce.
Choice rated Community Co A Squeeze of Tomato Sauce, available from IGA, as number 1 in 2019 from a list of over 20 tomato sauces/ketchups.
Anyone tried this and can give me a recommendation and reasons on why I should try something else over this?
Ima have to apologise in advance for being a questioning beotch that expects a reference to a scientific study for every statement...after quoting Choice đ€Ł

Will this be a good footy game?
100%. The boys look fired up to give 110%, so footy will be the winner.
Australia will carry a 2-1 lead into the final Test of the Ashes series in England, meaning they have retained the Urn on the back of a drawn fourth game at Old Trafford with a little help from the rain that washed out day five.
Poor old England wiped out by the weather.
I almost feel sorry for them. Yeah, nah, not sorry.
After being missing for 5 days, we have called off the search for sydbot.
RIP, little buddy. Hope you and your other bot friends are beeping and boopiing in bot heaven
We lost the toss (again!), and were sent in by England.
