Most expensive provinces for auto insurance premiums revealed
  • I've read before that Ontario has the highest rate of insurance fraud/ false claims. Factors like that may have affected Ontario's price, bringing it up. I wonder how Saskatchewan compares. Does Saskatchewan have a high rate of insurance fraud. If Ontario had a publicly owned insurance company, how much cheaper would it be?

  • What organizations and their departments offer work from home jobs/ opportunities?

I often hear of people in work from home opportunities but I find them so rare to come across. What sites / resources do you use to find remote work opportunities? Which companies still do work from home?

Also please list the country the jobs are out of if you can.

  • Would you be able to answer some more questions please? I'm interested to hear more of your opinion and experience!

    1. Did you find as a man you are taken more seriously by employers and coworkers? Do you find your opinion became more valuable?
    2. What do you find are disadvantages of being a male?

    Thank you!

  • Bank of Canada to raise rates 25 basis points on July 12, possibly the last: Reuters poll | Reuters
  • Interest rates are increased by the Bank of Canada to fight inflation. If the Bank of Canada pauses increasing rates then it may mean a few things:

    1. Inflation is at a level the Bank of Canada finds acceptable and doesn't need to be increased any more at the moment. Pace is steady.
    2. Canadians would not be able to handle another rate increase. In other words, there would be too many defaults or non payments of loans back.
    3. Pausing increases on interest rates may also mean that not enough people are borrowing. This may mean that the GDP isn't increasing enough, and the economy needs more people or businesses borrowing. Are less homes selling? Less vehicles being purchased? Less business debt?
    4. Another reason not mentioned here.

Not increasing interest rates may also result in a weaker dollar, which means importing would be more expensive.

All in all, I think a lot of people will see some relief with loan payments. However I worry goods will continue to increase in price.

(Not an economist, this is pure opinion.)
