In university I had a prof that used an overhead projector and a marker to slowly follow the lines drawn on the sheets.
I'd have given anything for a few PowerPoint slides.
“Why fix what is not broken??” George added when asked if they wished they had been separated.
This one still gets me.
It's so normal for us to assume that the best course of action would have been to separate them if possible and here is the person affected by it saying otherwise.
Damn, I never knew I needed a 3rd person in my relationship until now...
But then the two on the bottom would have to be inside one another.
Doed the article not link to the study?
That's why you wait half a year and get the game for half the price without major bugs.
All I remember is having to go to the store, walk around the store and hope they still have it, go to the counter and pay for it and then having to go all the way back home to play it.
Now you click a button, make yourself a sandwich and the game is ready to go.
Same. After maybe two episodes of that guy I had enough. The constant "we're save" to "Oh no some random bad guy that is worse than the last" to "yay were safe" to "Oh no,..." finally got to me.
"And then everyone clapped and I got a raise"
Don't worry. The cockroaches will evolve and take over.
The AI just ignored the "without makeup" part of the prompt. 😄
You have "friends and family"?
Sounds like you're a big fat phony!

Closed source does mean it's worse by default because we can't verify what the app does. The only things we really know about Whatsapp are:
-
Meta is scanning your texts before the message is sent. Back when I last used it you could easily verify this by typing a url and having the app underline the url for you.
-
Meta is collecting an enormous amount of Metadata. This can also be verified by checking the permissions the app has and by various people that have monitored the background activity of the app.
-
Meta is using the Signal protocol to send the message. However, as previously explained this means nothing because they already scanned the message prior to sending it.
So with no way to look at the code we have to assume that Meta is collecting and storing the messages and their metadata.
If you post a statement clearly aimed at inducing negative sentiment against Biden, it's natural for me to assume that you favor Trump.
Why else would take the time to write a comment like that?
Do you really think Trump who desperately seeks the approval of every strongman in the universe would have stood up to Netanyahu to tell him to stop?

It looks like Lemmy is also attracting developers on GitHub.
