Yeah I'm barely reading the comment without snoring. I bet its well written, but I could care less to learn about what a "progressive" is and I have no context to understand when people talk about them. Also, after I stopped being liberal it took me like 2 years to learn what a SocDem is. Both are a dumb mincing of words, and they're both highly effective ways of confusing people who desperately need to learn to abandon liberalism altogether.

I know a little of the language. I would feel so nice and warm and comfortable in my own skin if I knew it fluently.

Because too much hot sunshine can suck and scarves can protect your scalp, face, neck, and shoulders.

I wonder if you might be interested in this book Women's work, the first 20,000 years: women, cloth, and society in early times by Elizabeth Wayland Barber... she talks about how textiles, garments etc are key human technologies and I found it a useful way to think about things.

This all sounds very exciting. Once I find a PDF I might check it out.

I don't know wjat you mean exactly, but i need good smooth storytelling, which is why I love Parenti's essays and speeches so much.

1 page a day feels like too big of a rush of excitement. Even an article as short as a long comment feels like that. I can feel my brain doing huge skateboard tricks.

With straight hair, people's scalps typically don't need conditioner. Conditioner directly on the scalp can make hair oilier. If it itches without conditioner it's typically because it's used to having moisturizer added to it. If you don't condition the scalp for maybe a month your scalp could possibly return to normal self produced moisture.

My hair isn't as oily anymore now that I don't add extra conditioner to it. Right now I use a 2-in-1 shampoo and conditioner because that's what I have available. But before this, I had plain shampoo of the same exact brand, and my hair was least oily. It lasted a whole day longer unwashed.
