  • If you didn't have it on your first run, going HARD in on Shivers will give you a lot more flavour and insights and world building. It's many people's favourite skill for a reason. It can be done even with low-middling FYS, just make sure to go for either Apocalypse Cop or Hobocop, plus try to grab the Bow Collector.

If you tried being "reasonable" your first run you will most likely be surprised by how many rewarding dialogue lines open up by committing to being completely unhinged and deranged. Electrochemistry is of course very entertaining, but as you seem to have already sussed out Half-Light is the sleeper hit of the FYS skills. He's absolutely hilarious.

If you're okay with it, the FYS skills will pull you into the Fascist vision quest, and without spoiling it I will say that it is actually different than you think at first and in the end a super interesting (if depressing) vision quest.

One of my favourite playthroughs I've watched went hard on FYS and basically had the mindset of "I'm never saying no to these guys's suggestions". It was extremely interesting.

Otherwise, just try to do stuff you didn't in your first playthrough. Try to remember whenever you went "no, better not, this is probably a bad idea" and this time don't chicken out.

  • Skriv på ändå om ni inte redan gjort det, kommer säkert vara en viss mängd underskrifter som inte godkänns och kastas. En god marginal skadar aldrig, och ser bättre ut också om frågan ska debatteras.

  • A man of culture and impeccable taste.

  • I'll see if I can hold out for a sale. I'm interested in the Mask of the Betrayer expansion but not as much in the main game.

  • Perfect use of AI, and a huge discovery really. Getting these windows into actual everyday life of the past is to me the most fascinating aspect of archaeology.

  • Love your work as always! I hope your health improves soon ♥️

  • I'd watch/read it but I refuse to log into Facebook.

  • Pure, unadulterated capitalism and greed finding new and horrifying ways of bleeding the people dry. Colour me unsurprised.

  • Nice! I gravitate to DEX builds too as it's just so nice to have bow access. My favourite stylish build is probably dual wielding the Tracers, but that's basically NG+ only.

  • Finishing up Pentiment probably later today, and it will be nice to have it over and done with. I will appreciate having played it, but I can't say actually playing it was all that fun. It's beautiful, it's well-researched and it has some interesting plots and characters in it but... god damn is it ever slow. Between the laboriously slow and often banal and uninteresting conversations and the lack of fast travel leading to half your playing time being watching your character slowly waddling across Tassing the game feels like an absolute slog to play.

I've been breaking up the tedium with Mandragora: Whispers of the Witch Tree. I've had my eye on it as it's written by Bloodlines-writer Brian Mitsoda, and at 25% off on the summer sale I thought why not.

It's a Metroidvania Soulslike with a skill tree inspired by Path of Exile, and I'm really liking what I'm seeing so far. The combat has been solid, the build diversity seems great and the bosses have been good. The game is beautiful with a lovely art style and the level design is really good too.

From what I've seen so far I recommend checking it out if you like these types of games!

  • That's up to us, the people.

  • I fucking hate those videos, I'm so bad at recognising them from thumbnail and title alone and always get irrationally angry whenever I stumble into starting to watch one.

  • Sure did. I think it was some sort of cryptobro group focused on "growth and monetisation" if I remember right. Named "Chosen" I believe?

  • I'm not sure I trust Nexus with a picture of my ID, you know. What a fucking mess.

  • I know this is an unpopular opinion, but I would wait for a bigger sale. The game is fine, the combat is solid and to its credit it's absolutely beautiful. But at its heart it's just a very polished Ubisoft open world game. It's also way too long given how dour the writing is. The story is fine but you can't maintain interest for 60 hours when everything is delivered in a stoic monotone.

  • Inte förvånande överhuvudtaget eftersom den sittande regeringen tycks ha som största prioritet att förvandla Sverige till USA.

    Fullkomligt deprimerande.

  • Mandragora: Whispers of the Witch Tree is 25% off. I held off on it on release but it's apparently much better now after the patches. It's a Metroidvania Soulslike, and the skill tree is clearly inspired by Path of Exile. I just started playing it yesterday but I'm really liking what I'm seeing so far.

  • I'm seeing the movie on wednesday, hoping it'll be a good time. On paper an old driver feeling pressed into playing dirty because he can't hang with the young guns anymore doesn't sound half bad. Though I doubt that's how it's portrayed in the film.
