I learned that from this video years ago

Happened to me a few years ago, started in a new office and one of the guys seemed cool so we talked more frequently. Ended up helping him get the apartment upstairs from me because his lease was expiring and carpooled to work. That's when the clinginess started, couldn't go half a day without him always texting or calling over stupid shit and borderline unhinged behaviors. I distanced myself real quick from him. The final straw was when he had asked what "village" my girlfriend was from in Brazil, then doubled down when I called him out for assuming she was from some uncontacted Amazonian tribe. "Well you havent been there yet so you don't know lol" yeah ok fuck you, dude. Haven't talked to him since, even though he still lives upstairs.

Mines nothing special, i5 10400 with 16GB of RAM and a 1050ti for video encoding. System runs TrueNAS Scale for Plex and Immich and has 44TB of drives running through a Dell H310 PERC SAS card. I desperately need more storage but I've been lacking the funds for new drives, I'd also need a 5.25" drive bay converter to hold the 2 additional drives I need in this case since all the bays are full, and another SAS card since this one's used up.

I'd like to move to Jellyfin but from what I've read it doesn't do as well for streaming from outside the network compared to Plex and half the users of my server are outside my network. So it works for now.

Also have a Raspberry Pi 5 running PiHole

Also a buddy 3D printed a fan mount for the H310 to make sure it doesnt overheat when doing file transfers and I slapped a Noctua on it

The Box ^TM just came in handy for me to find a VGA cable to change a BIOS setting on an old PC to output through PCI on boot. Had to reset the BIOS after installing a new CPU and it reverted that setting.

The Box ^TM will stay with me until death.

No that's a Honda LaneSense passenger side camera toggle, shows what's beside/behind you from the side mirrors perspective. My mom's HRV has it. It also activates when you turn on the right turn signal. My guess it it's from turning the headlights on and off with dirty hands, you can see it's set to OFF now. Don't know why people don't just use the auto headlight feature.

Pretty fucked. I'm already weighing my options here now that this has happened. My gf is a Brazilian here on a education visa, will Trump deport her? Maybe. If she goes back to see family during the summer will she be allowed back in? I don't have much faith she will be. My cousin is trans and in a red state now, he's very much at risk. My other cousin is queer and also at risk. If my dad wasn't already dead his disability money will have dried up, not to mention his medications and treatments would've been unaffordable more than they already were. Thank fuck I don't have or want kids so they don't have to grow up in this shit hole of a country, if there's even a livable planet left with Trump deregulating and adding to the climate crisis.

It's the same thing, cost of living is the inflation raise. We get regular raises every 42 weeks as regular carriers but even those are menial

Yeah but 1.3% raises? In this economy? Actual joke. They spent 20 months on this contract negotiation and that's all they give us. The AC in the trucks was already in the works with the rollout of the NGDVs and the Metris vans they're using as holdovers so that's almost pointless.
