My first outdoor pepper **that hasn't been eaten**!

Something has been eating the leaves, but the plant is doing really well! This came from a seed from a pepper from the store - it was labeled as either an "ancient" or a "twisty" pepper.

This is the biggest pepper on the biggest plant and is around 6 inches long! (all I had with me for scale was my hand, but later remembered that none of you know how big my hand is 😋) It's in one of the half-barrel sized planters with another of the same kind, and 2 tabasco pepper plants.

This young deer has been wandering around our neighborhood lately

Young deer, tried stopping by my lilies for a snack! I took this picture through the window but accidentally left the flash on from the last pic taken... This is the moment the deer noticed me - it didn't bolt until I started opening the door! (and it didn't seem to get any of the lilies... this time)

Every generation has some product/ingredient that they didn’t know was dangerous at the time: tobacco, lead, asbestos, etc. What is that item for this generation?
  • What I think it is, is that every single person who ever consumes it, will eventually die. We are also literally dependant on it. If you stop ingesting it for too long, it can also cause you to die... That's how it went around here, at least.

  • Finally getting a new peace lily flower!

My lone surviving lily (from at least a dozen, planted at the same time)

I'm pretty sure it's a "dot com", although I could be wrong. It currently has 6 open flowers, and I'd love to cut it, but after seeing a hummingbird drinking from it I've been holding off.
