  • Low income families that get booted from Medicaid will get nearly the same coverage from Obamacare.

    Examples:

Family of 4. Male, age 30. Female, age 30. Male, age 10. Female, age 10. Saline County, Kansas. Annual household income $32,500 (just over the poverty level). The cost of health insurance is zero and the maximum out of pocket for the entire family for the full year is $4k. Click here for a screenshot.

Second scenario, same information, except the household income is $40,000 (just below 125% of poverty). Click here for a screenshot. You may notice the rates are the same!

Third scenario, same information, except the household income is $48,000 (just below 150% of poverty). Click here for a screenshot. Still very affordable!

  • Your phone is doing it too. TV too, if you have one. Don't forget about your doorbell!

  • The article needed translation: "Please don't invade me."

  • The last mile can be 25 mph. That alone will eliminate 99% of traffic deaths, especially if the roads are designed to make it uncomfortable to go above 25 mph.

  • Latin Mass Catholic. So perhaps that makes more firm your impression of me. That said, I really don't mind a sincere conversation, if you care to ask any questions.

  • I might be insane. Do the insane know when they are insane? Either way, I am open to AMA style questions if you sincerely care to find out if your impression carries with me too.

  • Maybe it matters to some people, but if I'm going to get affordable healthcare through Program A or Program B, I really don't care which it is. Families that are dropped from Medicaid for being above the poverty rate will be able to get almost the exact same thing (honestly, they'll have more options for providers) through Obamacare.

  • Okay, here's the data-- Family of 4.

I am sorry for your dad who died of cancer. If he had bad advice, I wish he got better advice when looking for his health insurance. The truth is, without Medicaid, most families can still get very affordable healthcare.

  • If you are between 100% & 125% of poverty and in a state that didn't expand Medicaid, you still get nearly free healthcare through Obamacare.

  • Having babies made my wife more affectionate and concerned about my own well-being. It was so great, we now have 11 children together. She's a real blessing.

  • This is probably a good reminder for all public figures. AI is getting too good for many of us to know if it is real, unless we have a reliable place to confirm.

  • They last longer. Up to this point the government could not get the public to adopt the $1 coin, largely because it was too big physically, and cashiers didn't have an extra slot in their coin drawer. We could change all that now, if we convert $1, $5, $10, and $20 into coins the appear similar to the penny, nickel, dime, and quarter.

  • This is probably a good reminder for all public figures. AI is getting too good for many of us to know if it is real, unless we have a reliable place to confirm.

  • Just scrap anything less than $1. Then make coins $1 $5 $10 $20 that look and feel similar to the penny, nickel, dime, & quarter but are really replacing these paper bills.

  • That's $15,000 not $15. The answer is schools are corrupt fronts for contractors who milk the district of every dollar. Construction, service, demolition, and reconstruction of buildings is expensive!

  • Owning things like Pocket is fine as long as each product stands on it's own. Melding them together is what upsets their user base.
