It feels like if you hear a friend had a baby, but if you don't go visit them in the first 2 months they'd already be off to college! 😦

Wow. This gives a lot of perspective to the pictures of young ones. Wow. Two months.

Not much of a childhood I guess you could say!
I found some weight numbers in this report for GHOs and you can see how rapidly the mass builds up.
They will start wandering to and from the ground and nest at the end of the 2 months until eventually they have all the flying and hunting stuff down well enough on their own and by months 4-5 they will be about indistinguishable from their parents.
