Anchor, first and oldest US craft brewery, to shut down after 127 years

While it's sad to see, my friends and I sat around trying to think of the last time we bought anything from Anchor. For me it was a Christmas Ale 4 or 5 years ago. Yet they were in every grocery store in CA. How can a beer that I never see anyone buy be available everywhere?
