the forums seem to be down, probably "hug of death". Can you or anyone else who might have had luck accessing it to copypaste the changelog here? Thanks <3
Also hopefully butt grabbing. I'm playing as a halfling and during one particular scene I'm confident they went for the butt but instead weirdly cupped the back of my knee. Of course it may have been just a general anatomy issue, we were trying something different for sure.
I wish multiplayer was a bit more dynamic. I started a game with two other friends a couple weeks ago, but then a third friend wants to join now and we have to decide if we want to completely start over or just have them control the NPCs.
I don't know why our poor shorty races are so under-represented, Larian did a fantastic job on their models! Compared to male elves and tieflings, the dwarf and gnome selection is vastly superior. And gnome racials are absolutely crazy, who wouldn't want advantage on all the most debilitating saves!?
Man what a monster patch.
Having written the release notes for the company I work for, today at work and then reading this… I shudder just thinking about the amount of work it takes to write this and to organize all these things in the background. Jesus fucking Christ how many people work at Larian/this game?
Lastly patch #2 is just around the corner and it will mostly be a performance one. Really excited for that.
Biggest issue I came across though was with Cross-saves not behaving properly and there seems to be some weird issue with Steam Cloud saves not uploading correctly. I had been trying to play between PC and my Steam Deck, but this just completely killed that for me as it was so unpredictable and kept giving me problems. I've now just settled on having two separate playthroughs going on at once, to avoid having to use cross-saving altogether.
Looks like they fixed the chest of the mundane for act 3. Too bad I already tossed all my cups and bowls away. It also says it fixed a bug where it changed the weight of items in the chest? So the reason everyone used it was a bug? Guess I'll find out since I threw all my camp supplies in it and they were heavy as fuck.
Pro tip, you can just leave your camp supplies in your camp traveller's chest and be able to rest no problem. Don't even need to take them out of the chest.
