Stein, 73, was arrested Saturday, spent six hours in police custody and is facing charges of assaulting a police officer.
Green Party presidential candidate Dr. Jill Stein said she may have suffered a rib fracture after she says she was knocked to the ground and assaulted by police during her arrest at a pro-Palestine protest at Washington University in St. Louis.
“Today I have really sore ribs, I’m going to the emergency room to see whether I have a rib fracture because they were using their bikes as a weapon,” Stein said during a Sunday interview on “NewsNation Prime.” “Basically ramming the handles of the bike into our chests and into my ribcage and trying to flip us over.”
Stein, 73, who was arrested Saturday, spent six hours in police custody and is facing charges of assaulting a police officer. “I wiggled out of that assault, and was told by the officer that I was assaulting him, which is absolutely ludicrous,” Stein said.
Didn't really give a hoot about her hitherto (except thinking it's very funny when libs mald about her 2016 run) but huge respect to her for this
It would've been so easy not to show up, but she did. Maybe if you wanna be cynical you could say she's just trying to pump up her approval with the kids, but I chose to believe
The bicycles are custom designed for law enforcement use. Many manufacturers of bicycles offer police models, including Haro, Volcanic, Trek, Cannondale, Fuji, Safariland-Kona, Force, and KHS.
Never buy one new of those manufacturers. There's enough other manufacturers out there that this is very easy to do.
EDIT: Fuji especially by the way, they made big news during the BLM protests that they wouldn't anymore and then quietly resumed it after. To no surprise to anyone but still, if the jellyfish have you beat on spines you deserve ire
Always check around for giveaways or sales for second hand bikes too. Mfers are always planning on biking but never do it and then offer them up cheap on Craigslist and shit.
You know how police dogs are considered police, well bikes are police too. Obviously Jill steins ribs assaulted the bike which led to the assaulting an officer charge
Jill Stein is actually the first presidential candidate I ever voted for... in 2012, before anyone gave a shit about her. Her platform was centered around the Green New Deal, a term most wouldn't be familiar with until AOC started using it many years later.
Some of her advisors this time around are literally on the board of "Friends of Socialist China" this time around, so expect China related freakouts in the coming months.
A thing libs miss when they say that the protests are pointless (always said in bad faith), is that stuff like this exposes to the rest of the world how evil the USA is.
