Report on state broadcaster CCTV says last year two people working in the rare earths sector were jailed for 11 years or more for stealing state secrets.
Your opportunities in industries which collect international monopoly rents (easy "email jobs" or high-paying industry with benefits) will rapidly diminish as Africa is lifted out of poverty by Chinese internationalism, scooping out the lower end of the US value chain, leaving your children with nothing but working at McDonalds or revolution, 90% of the USA is already in this situation. None of this is true of Chinese people. They are not embarrassed of their success. You'll never be able to articulate serious arguments against what China has done on the world stage without regurgitating things you barely remember from Wired, but this is just jingoistic slurring. You didn't even try to form a coherent thought.
Aren't you embarrassed to try pass off your humiliation as criticism?
@worldnews@lemmygrad.ml @ksynwa@lemmygrad.ml @What_Religion_R_They@hexbear.net Sometimes stuff that involves multiple layers of federation seems to cause a problem. This happens with just Lemmies, though. For instance if a Lemmy.ml user replies to a Lemmygrad.ml user on Hexbear, nobody on Hexbear can even see it. The worldnews tag here helps, as does commenting on what a federated user replied to rather than replying to them. 😵💫 D-did that make sense? Should it? Will this even show up?
But you are right it didn't show up a while ago. I am wondering if your reply is what triggered mine to show up. Can you drop a reply to this comment as well? -> https://hexbear.net/comment/4807320
