Engine cover detaches during takeoff on Southwest Airlines flight to Houston
Southwest Airlines Flight 3695, en route to William P. Hobby Airport in Houston, encountered a safety scare on Sunday as its engine cowling, or cover, detached during takeoff.

8 0 ReplyWho does the maintenance? Do the maintenance people work for Boeing? Or are they licensed by Boeing? Or does Southwest run the whole deal?
4 0 ReplySouthwest sort of runs the whole deal for maintenance, for repairs they often have to use Boeing to affect the repairs.
The blame game is kinda pointless imo. We know what the issue is, neo-liberalism hollowing out productive forces, which include maintenance budgets.
