- Side note, Thrice has a really deep catalog now and are still putting out great music. A lot of it is kind of allegory but they really moved on from the teen screamo type music.

There's no way vague posting isn't still a thing. People have always been and will always be passive aggressive sadsacks from time to time. It's just changed formats, not disappeared completely.

People don't really do away messages anymore... that was over 20 years ago on AIM.

- Every message is an away message now.
The internet from 15 years ago is the old internet for anyone under 30.
And anyone over 30 is obviously a Boomer so we can safely disregard their perspective.
- i would place the old/new internet divide on the commercialization of smartphones. Not on the user age but how we got online. Internaut profile too has changed from people who work with computers + gamers to anybody
