Anyone run across a post that ceashes sync?
My first time encountering it, just scrolled to it like three times to check, anyone else having this issue?

It's because the user is from an unsupported fediverse platform. See here.. Can you add that to the github issue?
Lmfao I think it's because someone posted what causes the crash for them in the comments. Every time I open this post and scroll to it, sync crashes
If so that's wild. Even a link to a user does that?

Can you shed any light on what the cause of the crash was? (Was it something about that image? Or about posts generated by snac2? Or...?)
Actor IDs from neo.lightbulb.net were formatted differently. I added a rule and also a failsafe for future.
Yeah, there is a post from a few hours ago that is doing it.
Edit: Now something in these comments is crashing Sync.
Same. It's only in my"Subscribed" feed. So far it hasn't popped up in the "Everything" feed.

Same, sync crashes when scrolling because of a post, not sure which one.
It's caused by a user on another non-Lemmy, non-Mastodon fediverse platform. The lemmy web UI doesnt have a problem with them, but I think Sync doesn't know how to deal with displaying a username from an unfamiliar platform
Yes, I tried to figure out the post but it's really far down the list. I was going to attempt turning off images and find it but I lack the motivation.
The same thing has just started happening to me.
I'm not crashing (yet). Is it possible to link the post?
