You choose, even when you don't vote
  • Your unholy flying squid team is trying to compete with the power of the Pastafarian Pirates: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flying_Spaghetti_Monster

Neither team is the good guys. No matter which team wins, non-evil people who don't want pressed into your chain gang--they all lose.

There are no good guys in politics. Politics exist precisely because the 'teams' involved are ALL evil, delusional, selfish, and dishonest. Call them flying squids, flying spaghetti monsters, vampires, werewolves, leviathans, behemoths, titans, giants ... all political parties are evil and have only the interests of their own power and glut at heart.

"And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God."

  • You choose, even when you don't vote
  • And yet people like you keep saying this time, it will work.

It is actually you that is saying this. That is the very thing I was criticizing. You seem confused and contradictory.

Your team is not the good guys. There are no good guys. There are the masters and the slaves; the rulers and the ruled. And as long as you keep believing in their game and their rules it will always be so.

"People like you ....?" Are you literally illiterate? You read what I wrote, then accused me of saying exactly the opposite of what I wrote. Read my post again. Realize that you are completely delusional and caught up in the usual election cycle hysteria. I've witnessed this same shitshow for nearly half a century. Nothing ever changes, except the rubes and con men want to keep the slaves invested in the fantasy that participating more fully and robustly in their slavery will liberate them. It is you who is demanding to do the same thing over and over expecting a different result. You are projecting your election cycle hysteria on to me.

Just VOTE HARDER. Maybe then things will change.

  • You choose, even when you don't vote
  • @SuspiciousUser@lemmy.ml

But this time… THIS TIME IT WILL BE DIFFERENT!

In 90+% of elections people follow your advice and vote along party lines. And they say the same thing then, too.

So your criticism is the same shopworn logic I've heard for five decades. Nothing ever changes, the rich get richer, the poor get poorer, the wars continue, and you just keep thinking your can, 'vote your way out'.

VOTE HARDER! Then maybe things will change.

  • You choose, even when you don't vote
  • @Objection@lemmy.ml

Why are you voting at all? Haven't you figured out yet that elections are a circus designed to make you think you have a choice? How have billions of people been convinced that playing by rules established by 'them' is going to work to benefit justice? Who counts the votes? The very same people you might be voting against command the ones counting the vote. If the electorate is not separate from and superior to the political power, then an election is a farce no matter who votes, and no matter who wins.

All the candidates are Adolf. All the candidates are always Adolf. Adolf Senior, Adolf Junior, Adolf Lite, Fuzzy Adolf, Slimy Adolf, Orange Adolf, Busty Adolf, Regal Adolf, Caesar Adolf, Genghis Adolf, Pope Adolf, King Adolf, Queen Adolf, etc., yada, yada, yada .....

These days it seems that Godwin's Law has been heavy-dosing steroids and meth. Adolf died 70 years ago and went to seed. Now we have 100 thousand Adolfos all in cahoots.

Voting from the pool of candidates chosen, groomed, and funded by the real rulers, is literally slaves voting for the less evil of pre-approved masters.

    VOTE HARDER.

"The divine right of kings was a current system too. I wonder how they overthrew it"

They didn't overthrow it. The kings and aristocrats made a bargain that they would take turns being kings and aristocrats (voting) as long as the system of property, income, and estate taxes stayed in place to bleed the poor and middle class. It is the same people's grandchildren today that are your pool of candidates. We still live under a cult that considers itself having the divine right to rule the tax serfs.

I suspect you can still do PPP with a cell phone. The ones I have still have PPP dialer software in the base system. It would take some hacking, but looks possible. You could test with a NetZero dialup account.

    Nice story, bro.

When you post a real photograph of yourself, wife, kids, and all your social security numbers and bank account numbers, along with a complete history of all video rentals and library books, and your private confessions of folly, vice, and sin-- post all that on your Lemmy profile, then I'll believe you have nothing to hide.

  • No easy way at all. The specs would be in-house manufacturer docs. Recall that digital cameras used to embed date and time visibly in images in a corner. The logical progression was to embed other data such as device serial number, geotag data, etc.

Regarding the schemes for steganographic identification in devices such as cameras and printers, this information is usually kept a trade secret. The Secret Service would probably already have the spec docs for data hiding. Many manufacturers already have working agreements to provide back door assistance and documentation for the hardware surveillance economy. Ink chemistry profiles are registered with the Secret Service. The subterfuge is to 'investigate counterfeiting' but it is also used to identify whistleblowers and objective targets by their printer serial number or ink chemistry, or the data embedded in any images they are naive enough to publish.

If you are a undercover reporter secretly video recording, unbeknownst to you the video could have metadata encoded using a secret scheme. If you registered that product for a warranty, or bought it online and had it shipped, or paid with a credit card or check, or walked beneath the electronics store cameras without a hat and sunglasses to pay cash, it is easy for the state organs to then follow the breadcrumbs and identify the videographer.

Almost all 'free' wifi hotspots offered by chain restaurants and hotels are logged with the data being stored indefinitely, showing your mac address. It takes only a little bit of investigation and process of elimination to find the user on a camera feed history, to see who was connected when a certain message or leak was sent. If you use a wifi hotspot in a McDonalds, Wendy's, Starbucks, etc. smile for the surveillance camera which will also have your device's unique MAC address in the wifi history. This MAC address data is automatically sent to a central station, for example at the Wandering Wifi company, and God only knows how long they store it.

None of this nonsense makes anyone safer. These people hate us.

Some digital cameras and phone cameras can also embed the GPS coordinates in the pixel data so that even if you delete the EXIF metadata the GPS location and device serial number are still present in the image. Many document printers also embed device serial number and other data on printed documents by using nearly invisible dot encodings.

Tread: The True Story of Marvin Heemeyer and His Killdozer

    https://odysee.com/@thisworldworks:1/Tread.mp4:a

'In 2004, Marvin Heemeyer, a welder in Granby, Colorado, spent over a year building a bulldozer that he transformed into a 65-ton armored vehicle equipped with weapons and a camera. He then drove it through the town, destroying buildings and businesses in a fit of rage.'

'The documentary "Tread" tells the story of Heemeyer's life and the events that led up to his rampage. It is a fascinating and disturbing look at a man who was pushed to the brink by bureaucracy and injustice.'
