A fascinating bit of baseball history

I'm trying to learn to be a fan of baseball. This sort of history helps shape that burgeoning fandom.

Welcome! What lead you to decide to become a fan of baseball? I grew up with it so I guess you could say I was born into it.

As an adult, I like all the stats and just generally enjoy watching the game.
I'm gonna answer that with shameless self promotion, but the tl;dr is I have always thought I should be, just never have been! I'm working to change that.
