These are all just rumors so far, so I doubt it'll happen. But if it means the Neuromancer series is actually moving forward, I'm all for that.
- Neuromancer seems cursed when it comes to adaptations. There have been many attempts over the years and not a single one made it to the screen.

- He's an actor who will change his physique for a role if needed. You can see how Bale changed for The Mechanic for an example.
  
  Assuming you mean The Machinist? I suppose expecting an actor to physically alter themselves that much to the detriment of their own health is pretty cyberpunk!
