Is it just me, or does the British TVA guy's voice morph to Loki's voice when he says "To be a hero among heroes"?
It'd be a fucking awesome storytelling moment to have Loki, God of Stories, be the one trying to give Deadpool another chance like the one he got in the TVA. And it's not like we haven't seen Loki shapeshift before. God of Mischief or God of Stories, either way I think Loki would be tickled by Deadpool's shenanigans if he is the one that set him on this path.
Unrelated to that, I love the Ken Doll Wig (tm). I literally had a Ken doll like that as a kid with that exact hair. And I absolutely had friends who would've continued making up stories with a burnt up Ken doll barbie. (I mean, making reincarnation ritual rites with our dolls was A Thing that people don't realize little kids do. Or at least, don't talk about little kids doing. But we totally did it.)
Well, it's not just a Lemmy issue at all, though. It's on a bunch of websites across all the browsers I've ever used. It's kind of neat if it weren't so dumb that it's persisted for so long.
The & error occurs when somebody types "&" but it shows up as & in messages or titles due to some sort of problem with parsing or sanitizing the text input, idk the specifics. In order to even show this on lemmy.today I had to type that amp; part in manually a second time because it automatically changed to "&" otherwise. It's been around for more than a decade already.
It is not an error. It is an html code (for ampersand, all codes start with &, in this case amp means ampersand) that for some technical reason that is beyond me gets wrongly parsed into text.
