F1 commission approves sprint format changes
Friday has one free practice followed by a sprint qualifying 'shootout'.
The 100km race will then be held on Saturday morning before qualifying for the main Sunday grand prix.
I'll trade sprint races for an Andretti team, can we do that?
Best I can do is TWO Andretti teams.
Yay, I can ignore the Friday sessions again.
So having only one free practice before parc ferme no longer allowing for setup changes isn't addressed at all with this change, right?
I thought the reason they didn't do this before is that if you have a bad crash during the sprint you're then fucked for qualifying, right?
