Higher prices will start coming to Metro Inc. grocery stores as soon as next week after an industry-wide blackout period on supplier price increases comes to an end, CEO Eric La Fleche said Tuesday.

FYI, Metro "reported a first-quarter profit of $228.5 million".

I think it would be fair to legalize shoplifting at grocery stores, since they are clearly robbing us blind.
- You just know those cocksuckers would use shrink as justification to increase prices for customers too.

the company's private-label brands are reaching record penetration levels.

The Irresistibles and Compliments brands are sure penetrating their customers at record levels.
I have a Metro at 2 minutes, and a SuperC at 3 minutes. I never go to Metro, it's more expensive than IGA now.
