It looks like China public support for the ceasefire in Gaza was only valid until it directly impacted their own needs. Pathetic, but not surprising.
You're reading way too much into these headlines
Not really. While it's only ~10% of total China's trade that passes through Bab al-Mandab Strait the fact is that China showing their lack of power here. They were promised by Houthis save passage, but companies that operate the ships refuse to risk it and are going around the Africa anyway.
