Europe has biggest share of women, adolescent smokers, WHO report shows
World Health Organisation (WHO) report showed positive trends – tobacco use globally declined but the European region has one of the highest percentages of the population using tobacco, moreover, the highest share of women and adolescent smokers.
I wonder how that is split within Europe. I do have a guess Eastern Europe is leading by quite a bit.

I went to Romania for the holidays and was surprised by the sheer number of shops that sold various brands of vapes.

When I went to Europe in 2022, I noticed a lot more smokers than here in Canada.
1 0 ReplyI am thankful that smoking is relatively rare here and is banned in a lot of places (like close to restaurants or train stations)
