Apple announces adaptation of Martha Wells’ Murderbot Diaries

Apple TV+ announced that it will expand its slate of sci-fi series with “Murderbot,” a new 10 episode series hailing from Chris and Paul Weitz.

I'm curious how they'll adapt this. The best parts of the stories happen in the Murderbot's head. I'm guessing there will be lots of record scratches, voice overs, and breaking the fourth wall.
Gosh, I hope they don't give them the same treatment as they did Foundation.
- While Foundation has its issues, it's definitely not terrible and if they listen to feedback there's still time to bring it all together.
  
  Now as long as it doesn't end up like Invasion, I still haven't been able to finish that series, I'm not sure it really deserved a second season.
  
  Well, I disagree about Foundation. I cancelled my Apple TV membership over that.
  
  It wasn't that the show didn't have any relationship to the novels; it's that the wrriting was awful and I hated all of the characters. Give me at least one to like.
