This talk of Mbappe to Arsenal doesnāt make sense to me.
I know heās a āonce in a generationā talent but I just donāt see how heād fit in with what the Gunners are building. Heās the right age profile, but I donāt see him in this team.
What am I missing?
I'll tell you what you are missing.... delusion, and lots of it. I just can't see us competing on a financial level with other teams.
Don't get me wrong, I would love for us to be a in a position where we could sign a player of his caliber, but we aren't quite there yet.
We've never been the club to throw enormous salaries at players. It's like Wenger said, "We don't buy superstars, we make them."
