I kind of wish they just didn’t make any trailers for this game. I went in completely blind, not knowing anything about it, just based solely on people talking about it so often, and it was great. The less you know going in, the more impactful some of those scenes are the first time you go in. There’s just some scenes that melt your brain the first time you encounter them. “Wait… WTF is that?”
This games gives weird feelings. I remember being completely stuck with an early "puzzle" and kind of frustrated with the game as a whole... and then it hit me like an asteroid. It's been a while since my heart raced that fast when playing a video game.
The game can have some sad moments where you simply don’t know what to do. Then things click and you have this joy moment where you feel you’ve discover something that was in front of you from the beginning.
I confess I had to use a wiki few times, just to unlock my mind. Sometime, a simple look here is enough.
I never considered this game to be intensive on PC hardware. But after watching that trailer, you can tell the switch will be working hard. It's a great game no matter how good it looks on switch.
I can't find any explicit statements. But I am certain that the normal edition is the base game and the Archaeologist Edition includes the Echoes of the Eye DLC. I doubt there is any new content. Also it would not be possible to have the DLC on it's own, if I understand your question correctly
Based on how this looks, it's just the digital base game + the dlc included. No other changes, other than performance tuning for the Switch hardware. Basically like the Slime Rancher "Plortable" edition
