Honestly I hope that game streaming doesn't become mainstream ever, it could mean the end of traditional game ownership. And I think that input lag will always be a thing even with better network speed.
the only thing i could think of is if your current PC couldnt handle the spec requirements for a game, however you gotta take that big ol dick latency right in the pooter which if you love the game youll just buy to have a good experience. But is that the strat? tease games until you buy? or is games as service a forever alpha ride. like 7days and the like.
