- Admiral Bullock: Well then I just have to ask why can't the bridge take them directly to the engineering people?
- Tom Smykowski: Well, I'll tell you why, because, engineers are not good at dealing with bridge officers.
- Admiral Buenamigo: So you physically take the specs from the bridge?
- Tom Smykowski: Well... No. My apprentice does that, or they're beamed.
- Admiral Bullock: So then you must physically bring them to the engineering people?

Look, the computer didn’t hesitate to create Moriarty (sp?) so it would follow your order and passively turn off safety like a genie causing mischief.
