I hope that despite Iran demanding this pledge that they're not actually stupid enough to think the government will abide by it.
and we all know the Amerikkkans will always keep their word right? Iranian reformists, which includes the current President and Foreign Minister, are so desperate to normalize relations with the USA that they'll resume negotiations soon.
- I think that a) any break is welcome and b) it is rhetorically extremely convenient to Iranian leadership to have more to point to for the US directly breaking the most common-sense and de-escalatory agreements with Iran.
- Is pezeshkian in any way a break from consistently naive foreign policy towards the US?
