Swarms of tiny nose robots could clear infected sinuses, researchers say. The micro-robots are a fraction of the width of a human hair and have been inserted successfully into animal sinuses in tests.

Is this really a problem that require robotics? I feel like a good nose rinse would suffice, but maybe there are extreme cases.
Honestly I thought this seemed a little dumb but I think about the nuissance of nose rinsing and I think you sold me on it.
Nasal rinsing does a pretty good job at clearing up rhinitis but unfortunately it doesn't always get to the deeper part of the sinuses. People who suffer from chronic sinusitis don't always get the same degree of relief from just a nasal wash so this would be helpful in those cases.
Thanks for the explanation, TIL.
