If unused Chip Dip gets thrown out or composted then it was never actually chip dip.

I buy a box of pita chips and a tub of hummus.
Either I finish the chips and still have hummus, or finish the hummus and still have chips.
Why are they not a perfect ratio so that the last chip gets the last bit of hummus? 😩
That's me with whiskey and ginger ale.
Put hummus in your sandwiches or something, it's a great condiment.
If you got left-over humus, but it into your flower pots.
I bet you're a double dipper.
If hamburger was not eaten then its not hamburger?
Well technically hamburgers were never actually hamburgers, it's an abbreviation for hamburg steaks.
Well technically that is not an abbreviation. That is a portmanteau.
It comes from hamburg steaks. Adding -er to the end of a city name in German and English (now to a lesser extent) forms an adjective meaning from that city or a noun meaning someone or something from that city. Another example is frankfurter, which comes from frankfurter Wurst.
