  Furthermore, insofar as roses look red because of the light they reflect, one might say that one's queerness has a similar reflective property.
  Some of us are hi-vis glam while others sport a more satin surface, etc., but the perception of us (internally, as well, mind you) is not us. What is color to a rainbow, anyway? 🥰
Sacred's kinda a weird word, but I guess it rhymes better than "valued" or "important". Which they are.
- Oh, now I kinda want to see it redone with 'valued'. Or 'precious'. Important has too many syllables.
- "highly valued and important" and "deserving of reverence and respect" are among the definitions of "sacred" in Merriam-Webster. It's a word often connected with religion but it doesn't have to be.
  
  Idk, I still feel like it's a bit much. But I suppose that's a whole lot better than the opposite.
- Yea, sacred was an odd word choice. I've met at least one trans person who was actively unholy.
  
  Many Christians would say that all trans people are unholy. I don't personally find anything to be sacred.
