i predict a mass exodus on nexus for a lot of modders. but the issue is, where is stuff going to go?
- Gamebanana maybe?
- Mod.io?
- loverslab obviously
- I don't see it at this point, the new owners are at least saying they're not going to be assholes for the moment.
  Six months or a year from now, is when things will change.
Sad to see, but I was feeling it was only a matter of time for a while now. The mods could migrate but hard to replace the mod manager.
Wondering what's going to happen is pointless: in capitalism the enshittification is mandatory, not a possibility.
This is such a click bait headline and the comments so far just doom and gloom lmfao.
I am worried about the future of nexusmods, I didn't even think about my lifetime sub going away but they did state it wouldn't, they also specifically said they were looking to reduce ads and not thinking about paid mods. These are all good things, we will see how it ultimately plays out but the headline is hilarious. "THEY'VE ALREADY HAD TO HAVE BEEN ASKED"
I can't imagine a possibility that they wouldn't have been asked this even if they had never said a thing about AI, Crypto, or NFTs, that's the hot button things people like to rally against right now so it's going to be asked.
Ok, but what about AI? This shit is like whack-a-mole.
