The movies made me want to read the book. I still haven't yet though.
I still get chills when I hear "you're nothing to me now, Fredo."
I hate how it just... ends. I complained about it online when I finally finished the show, and the book fans were just like "lol now you have to wait 20 years for the next part!"
I kind of get it for some MMOs, but like that's it.
Honestly? I'd give them props for it if they had the balls to do something like this.
Yeah I'm not really comfortable with people just blowing this off as nothing more than people blowing smoke.
It will absolutely escalate, I believe trump will absolutely straight up tell his followers to do something and they'll fuckin do it.
Why does every hotel ever have those stupid loose plugs? If you sneeze right it'll just fall out.
Doesn't appear to say. I'm in the US, btw.
Not gonna lie they almost had me with Spider-Man 2.
And by almost I mean I would kinda think about getting an entire console for a second, but then immediately quash the idea.
I actually just cancelled my GamePass last night. I rarely use it, as I spend most of my time gaming on steam, and I own almost all the games I want to play.
Oof really? Damn, and I was actually looking forward to this.
Oh well.
"The sheriff is a bong!"
"The what?"
"He says the sheriff is near."
I know it's cheap, but I've had a lot of fun with Fallout: Shelter
Tbh I wish the Lego communities on Lemmy were more active, aside from critiquing the odd announcement for a new set.
I watched that one and I do not remember him being in it at all. Tbh it was probably the most forgettable one.
But they won't release the classics on PC. I'd kill to play the Sly or Jak & Daxter series today.
COWARDS!
I mean apparently people are enjoying that XDefiant game so maybe they have something with their shooters?
Hot Rod is still one of my favorites.
It's a shame we never got to see him in the live action movies.
So I've been playing through all the Arkham games lately, and I had an interesting thought about the whole Arkhamverse as a storyline.
I think the entire game series is based (loosely) on The Killing Joke story, with other major events, references, and storylines lifted from other Batman comics. I just think TKJ was used as a basis for the games' world.
We see Joker's beginning with his flashback at the end of Arkham Origins, which is almost identical to his TKJ origin, as well as him crippling Barbara in that flashback during Arkham Knight (right down to the clothes he's wearing). The overall dark tone of the games lend to this theory, as well as Joker being shown just how sadistic he can be.
What do you think?
If it's at all possible. I just find it kind of annoying to have to scroll through super long posts just to get to the comments. Review threads for newly released games in some of the gaming communities are what prompted this idea lol.
Edit: what the hell is going on with that account that keeps spamming nonsense?

However I've noticed that on all my controllers in the past few years, the left thumb stick will start to "give out" over the course of a couple months. For instance I'll be pushing it forward all the way, but it won't register for some reason and my character will only move a little bit. Sometimes wiggling it a bit will fix it, sometimes it doesn't. And it's not like I'm squeezing the hell out of the controller or mashing the stick constantly; in fact it's made me try to be more delicate with my controllers, even though I'm just playing the games normally.
Is it just how controllers are, or am I just getting the shit end of the stick?

Like, I travel around for work and I've met plenty of people from all backgrounds.
Why is there a demographic of people who don't seemingly bathe regularly, or at the very least wear something to cover up their BO? I could understand if it's an allergy, or even religious reasons (though the people I've met that smell bad are usually you're average American young adult man) but recently (like in the past week, recently) I've met a concerning number of people who don't seem to wear any kind of deodorant or possibly don't even bathe regularly; it's starting to become an issue for me, as I don't even want to interact with them when I can smell them walking up from 3+ feet away yet I need to for work.
Does anyone have any possible insight?
