The 64-year-old said it was hard to estimate the size of the iceberg at sea but figured it was at least three times the size of a regular bungalow.
What is that in international banana units?
Its 20x large boulders the size of a small boulder.
I can only picture it in imperial washing machines!
It's about 800 fahrenfeet
820,000 bananas rough estimate. Given a bungalow, including attic crawlspace, at 4500 cubic feet and a banana at .00551 cubic feet each.
This assumes the bananas have been blended or will squish and remove all gaps.
"I have seen icebergs that are rolled, what they say have rolled in the beach with some rocks in it. This one here is completely different. It's not only that he is all black. He is almost ... in a diamond shape," Antoniussen said in an interview with CBC Radio's Labrador Morning.
A Newfie fisherman gave an interview... I'd love to hear that audio.
Edit: FOUND IT! And it's as good as I was hoping: https://www.cbc.ca/listen/live-radio/1-31-labrador-morning/clip/16149859-whats-water-a-rare-iceberg-spotted https://www.cbc.ca/listen/live-radio/1-31-labrador-morning/clip/16149859-whats-water-a-rare-iceberg-spotted
Iceberg of color*
Is it as rare as the cock and balls iceberg seen near Dildo NFLD a couple years ago.
Seriously look it up.
You mean the one in Conception Bay?
It's actually just a regular iceberg. That's just how polluted our waters are.
What if melts and theirs alien eggs in there?
They need to get over there and get a core sample
Interesting article. Thanks.
Wonderful (and kinda creepy) photo
Yeah, that’s not very typical. I’d like to make that point.
Rare iceberg off the coast of Labrador? They should retrieve it.
