I was honestly surprised by how well it held up. The battles still feel impressively huge. Have fun with it!
Does a remake of the first Wipeout count? It was technically made very recently, as the source code was leaked in 2022 and a couple of projects re-built the game based on that, but the original came out in 1995
If that doesn't count then it's Battle Engine Aquila from 2003
Mine likes to graze throughout the day and would ignore the entire second half of any wet food I gave him, so dry food is the better option for us. I get him the best stuff I can and he gets stuck right in whenever I pour some more of it. I give him fancy wet food as a treat every so often too, just on the understanding that it will be somewhat wasted
Advocating a strong response to Russia lets him act out his Churchill fantasy, so he has a motivation to be less of a shitebag for a moment
The bible would surely never support people changing their names to reflect their social role either, like when Jesus gave Simon the name Cephas or Peter to reflect his position as the rock the church was founded on
HAVEN'T THESE PEOPLE EVER READ A BOOK FOR FUCKS SAKES
Uhh, yeah, and that's how they know that the best magic swords are in tombs. Where else would you go looking for them?
Honestly it don't think it matters much if they hold it in the long run. Ukraine isn't likely to be trying to annex it, and it forces Russia to divert resources from other fronts to handle it. If Ukraine can make retaking it very costly then even if Russia succeeds, Russia has had to spend a whole bunch of lives and materiel to gain literally zero Ukrainian land
Ukrainian military analyst Oleksandr Kovalenko commented that he believes the Volnorez system’s capability to be overstated, describing it as practically useless. He argues that it has been deployed on the battlefield for a year without significantly impacting on the success of the Armed Forces of Ukraine’s (AFU) kamikaze drone attacks.
I know nothing about this guy's credentials, but this was my first thought. I have seen so many tanks getting destroyed by drones. Are these systems not getting deployed or do they not work?
It's essentially where reddit's old Chapo Trap House community went after reddit banned them in 2020. It started federating with the rest of the fediverse some time last year, but there was a bit of a culture clash between it and some other larger instances and several of them defederated it
