A question about blocking Youtube's "Don't use an adblocker" nag.

I'm on a desktop.

In Ublock - I made the nag go away with this...

youtube.com##.opened
youtube.com##TP-YT-PAPER-DIALOG[class="style-scope ytd-popup-container"][prevent-autonav="true"]

But now I can't scroll down. One of two things happens.

  1. The window shakes.

  2. I can scroll down about 3/4ths of an inch, the window shake, and the scroller is sent to the top of the page.

  • I was able to block it like you said but I can't scroll down. If I want to look at the comments I have to open it in a private window. However, my phone hasn't had this problem using Firefox Beta.

  • I'm no computer whiz but this sub thread seems utterly ridiculous to me. The instructions go on and on and on and on.

Also - the mods seem decidedly unfriendly. They certainly don't want me (or anyone) to start a new thread and...

    DO NOT

    • "Stack up" multiple blockers,
    • Advise others to use multiple blockers at the same time,
    • Advise others to add old filters

They will just increase the chance of anti-adblock. Any violation comment will be removed

If I block the nag - is there really no css fix or something simpler so I don't have to get a PhD in ublock?

It's really annoying if I can't scroll down on vid pages. But I really don't want to fight with Youtube over and over and over and over again. At least with what I have - I can watch something without fuss and many minutes of frustration. Also search works and I can scroll down on search pages.
