  • Did some more messing around in Cassette Beasts after the update and worked on Neo The World Ends with You after not playing for a while

Though I've been seeing a lot of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and man does it like good. If I get some more free time this month I definitely want to pick it up

  • I play Octopath Traveler at the start of the Month, about 15-20 hours into it, but currently not in the mood to play more, maybe because i like to have one story instead of 8. Since the release of Clair Obscure: Expedition 33 i play that game and like it so far...yes...just that i suck so much at dodging and parry with quicktime events...So far i play it on Expert.....don't know if that a good decision. When i finished it i will play The Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy.

    • Expert's ambitious for anyone not dodge/parry inclined! I'd say it's mostly challenging early though, once you get far enough in you start getting access to builds and other tools that give you different ways to mitigate incoming attacks.

      • Yes i think it's already getting easier. The hardest so far was for me the very first boss in the game.

  • Last month I tore through Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. Best game I've played so far this year, and as I hinted at in my recent community post, it has the best soundtrack I've heard in years. Otherwise I was off the genre mostly, finally getting to play The Last of Us Part II with its PC release, and diving back into Baldur's Gate 3 for a little bit with the new patch.

For May I'm leaning most towards picking up Atelier Escha & Logy again, but I do have my eye on Romancing Saga 2: Revenge of the Seven. I'm not really a SaGa player, but I've seen so much positive word-of-mouth on it lately.

    • Hearing great things about Clair Obscur. All my friends are in love with it. Even the ones that generally don't like turn based games.

  • Playing Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition since it released, and will probably keep playing for next month or two.

After playing XC 3 I can see few things that could've been better in XCX, but they aren't a major issue, and only notice them because of direct comparison. Loving the game itself though. Can't wait for next Monolith Soft's next game, on Switch 2.

  • I've put about 60h into Metaphor Re:Fantazio last month. It's a great follow-up to Persona 5, but there are some bad thing here as well. Within my 60h, while doing literally everything I could along the way, I'm currently in the dungeon to get the spear. I'm on hard mode.

    • The social link advancement change was a pretty good move. I suspect that's how it's going to be going forward with Persona.

MP management is certainly a little weird in the game, but I think if I ever replayed it, I would just two-day all the major dungeons and not worry about it.

By the way, you can cut down the bathroom usage to Idlesday only.
