I have conquered Dark Souls 3 at level 1

I started doing a SL1 run because I heard that it was a good way to recapture the magic of a first run if you're a veteran and the series, and they're right

I played some of Dark Souls 3 once. I got stuck on the ice boss, one of the first in the game I think, forever and haven't played since. Not sure if I'm just too terrible at this game or it's just not my cup of tea or what.
Knowing others can beat the whole thing at level 1 is crazy impressive.
- Vordt of the Boreal Valley? Yeah, he's kind of a jerk and some of his attacks are pretty annoying to deal with if you're new to Souls games.
  If you ever want to try again, my best tip for Vordt is to stay right on his ass. The closer you are to his thicc
  , the better your chances to avoid his attacks. Except for the triple charge he does, which you just have to learn the timing for and roll out of the way each time.
  I couldn't get into the Souls games at first, but now they're some of my favorite games ever, so I'm always on team try again, it just might click this time. But, of course, for some people it never will and any time spent on these games is time wasted, and worse, time wasted in a miserable manner.
  You could also try ds1 or ds2 or Sekiro or Elden Ring, or, if you have a PS4 or PS5, Bloodborne. It's possible one of the other ones will click better for you and once you've completed one all the others tend to become much more approachable.
  
  Yes!! That was him. I just could not figure it out. And then one day I lost a bunch of souls I had accumulated and I gave up lol.
  Souls and Souls-like games are such a huge part of gaming culture that I really do feel like I'm missing out on something by not getting into them, or at least beating one. I tried DS3 because I heard it's the best for new players getting into the series, because it's more polished or easier.
  My other friend swears Sekiro is the best one ever and tells me I should try that one. And hbomberguy has a video arguing that Bloodborne is the best one for new players, and I do have a PS4 and PS5. But I'm hesitant to buy a second Souls-like in case it does turn out to be the series isn't for me, or I'm too old for trial-and-error style games 😭.
  Idk, I might just try DS3 again, starting from the beginning. You're the second person I've heard say they've come back to a Dark Souls game after some time and then it clicked. Maybe getting into the game with it being more familiar, but when the frustration isn't so fresh will help. I feel like if I start up my current save after not playing for 3 years I'll be completely lost about where to go or what to do.

Nice. I did DS1 L1 but I don't think I've done any of the others. Did all of DS3 although I still haven't fougth Gael or Midir. Someday I will.

What were some of the most challenging moments?
- Dancer, Twin Princes, Soul of Cinder, Friede, Demon Prince, Midir, and Gael were the bosses i got stuck on for significant amounts of time. The toughest area to get through was probably Irithyll because it's very narrow and hard to sneak/run past the enemies
