Any other non-Americans in USA purely by choice (not asylum, not immigrating from poor/fascist country)? How are you guys feeling? Staying for a while? Leaving soon, later, never?

My desire to leave has recently rapidly increased but I have a partner here and really close friends I want to be with as long as possible. I wish I could stay and establish roots but that was never an option given healthcare and the inevitably of the current downturn though I expected to have a lot more time before it got this bad tbh

I'm not exactly planning on leaving. I also have a lot going on here, close friends and comrades I can't imagine just hopping on a plane saying "good luck!"
But I have been working on claiming citizenship in an EU country so that at least they have somewhere to send me other than El Salvador.
- I think they'd probably still send you to El Salvador, no?
  They sent Venezuelans there, God knows which other nationalities.
  
  Probably tbh, if they're already talking about cutting loose on deporting citizens they're likely just going to send everyone to the one big concentration camp they already have

I live in america and have had trouble sleeping the past month as a citizen. I would be a prime target for getting sent to El Salvador.
I can't find a way out!

My wife is a naturalized citizen, and we are currently trying to move her mom here. The timing is fucked, but so far we are continuing the process.
