At this point it’s globally, and there’s no hope the Americans can come out in a position anywhere near where they were before. This is not good.
Nope, we'll have to beg and plead to get far less favorable trade deals in the future if we ever manage to get rid of our fascist rot.
China still has the ability to deal with the whole rest of the world. And so does the EU, or any other country. If the US insists on continuation of their suicidal course, the world will mostly arrange around that black hole on the north American continent.

It also matters that one baby started it.
China is a net importer of food, energy, and farmng inputs; they are very dependent on the global market. They may survive a US-China trade war, but a global recession is gonnaess that up as much as the rest of us. Russia might survive, as they are already cut off, but there are plenty of issues with their war time economy.
Russia might not. Oil prices are crashing which is ruining their only remaining reliable income stream.
