For me, the scary part is the realization that so many people are blind to this and think the world is actually getting better.

We're all in this together; the whole world is feeling it right now. And the community, commonality, and solidarity between people from countries around the world is a great comfort for me, speaking as a Canadian. When shit gets worse, remember that mutual aid is at least as important as competition to human nature - take care of one another.

Like I agree it is a better message in the edit, but I fear a lot of people are not ready to hear that yet and still need to work through the original before coming around to this... Still stuck in denial and whatnot.
