For population control?
Dear neighbours, the world is greedy for money. Worldwide, especially in wealthy nations, the birth rates are decreasing. The greedy bastards owning the economy want you to have kids in order to continue filling their pockets, because more people mean more needs, a bigger market and ultimately more money.
Trust in the greed of our capitalistic society for once, since it has been the one constant driver for human behaviour worldwide.

This is a good time for comprehensible, scientifically sound education. Furthermore, the sources of the lies should be identified and exposed as such. Both on a large scale.

When the government lies about pretty much everything on a daily basis and is involved in all sort of shady operations like gobal surveillance expect people to jump to these conclusions.
