Can we let this platform die quietly and stop bombarding the feed with Elmo spam?
- There's a community dedicated to Musk stories called Enough Musk Spam. I post in it all the time and I wholly advocate keeping most Musk/Twitter stories off this community unless they are of significant importance.
- I've added Lemmy filter keywords for Elon, Musk and Twitter, but that won't stop headlines like these, unfortunately.

X users are like that henchman in Austin Powers that refused to die, just kept updating everyone on his pain and slow death process. Just leave the platform or don't, but stop being surprised at every new indignity, if there were ever a line that shouldn't be crossed, it was left in the dust long ago.
Twitter was transformed into a far-right Nazi sympathizing cesspool of misinformation, indoctrination and hate. If you haven’t blocked all DNS resolutions for the site by now you’re doing it wrong. The site will eventually be shut down due to these facts, it will just take another j6-like event to do it.
- It will also have a very low attention span and not know anything of substance.
