For context, a woman went viral during the Myanmar Coup in 2021 for dancing/doing a "follow along" exercise routine as police and military vehicles rolled in behind her. People from Myanmar added that she was dancing to a protest song. She is wearing a mask because this was during the Covid pandemic.
- I can't imagine a legit celebrity musician coming up with a better music video. Nothing staged is going to beat a "nothing can phase me" dance video during a real live coup.
- I am laughing at myself because I find myself irrationally frustrated by the asymmetry of her dance. All of her step movements are in one direction, and then back to center.
  Why are we like this? What a stupid thing to get irritated about. And yes, you too, reader, have pet peeves. Maybe different ones, but it's still silly to get irritated by them.

  I am imagining her in a in-person class, standing in front of 20 participants. Now, if she were to do the steps in both directions, she would need double the padding around the margins in terms of space. So about 2 metres free space to the left and the right. Doing the steps only on one direction, would let her use her studio space more efficiently.

  People love symmetrical patterns and proper ratios our brains seem to be fine tuned to noticing and examining them for information and correlation. Theres a billion theories as to why, nobody really knows. Me I personally think that the universe in totality is somewhat conscious and has a deep appreciation for the fundimental abstract truths baked into the concepts of symmetry and higher levels of complexity forming beautiful tapestries of order. As we are higher complexity beings spawned from the universe we inherit this appreciation that lead to the creation of life and our awareness in the first place.

That woman is what we call ignorant, I am saying this as Myanmar myself(woman in photo is quasi support on Junta).
And we are currently heading to Syria like situation, minus Assad kicked out phase. If Xi Pooh really going to back junta further, it will be quite hellish in coming years.

- No. It's very specifically the things being done after the election to weaken the legislative branch's ability to enforce checks and balances on the executive branch. This consolidates power in the presidency, breaking the entire safety net that our constitution put in place.
  
  To be fair, I do think it's a bit different than a coup. If strong evidence comes out that the election was tampered with (which I could believe) then I'd call it a coup, but as it stands right now, it's more like the American people voted to try a dictatorship political system out
