I'll try not to over-post my pup but he was insisting on having a toy while he got scritches.

Our puppy only gets to greet visitors with something in her mouth. It was actually something she started doing and we just continued with it. People not too comfortable with dogs feel a bit safer that way. So cute when she realises "oh, new person! Get a toy! Quick!"
