'It may seem like a whole new game': One of my favorite medieval city builders just got a huge update with a ton of new features

  • My experience with Foundation is that it had the same mid-late game issue that most resource-gathering games have: path-mapping.

More often than not workers would struggle figuring out where to go or would go through the most inefficient routes.

I hope that's fixed because it was a lovely chill builder (albeit a bit slow paced).

    • While I have many hours in Foundation, for some reason I always drop my runs in the mid to late. With other city-builders I usually go all in with elaborate design that are both optimized and visually pleasing.

I do think there path mapping is to blame as even with optimized layouts, growth tends to slow down in the mid to late game.
