Rockstar released a Switch port of the original Red Dead Redemption last month…
Everyone: “Please just give us a 60fps mode.”
Rockstar: “What about…the opposite of that?”
28 1 ReplyNew feature! 100% of the game is screenshot mode!
11 0 ReplyThey’re reconfiguring the game as on on-rails shooter. /s

I think deadlines matter more to Rockstar than 60 frames per sec.
Also, the switch is a bit more finicky to develop too due to memory limitations. At least compared to the competition 😢
2 0 Replyhow in the hell would you get RDR2 to run at 60 FPS on the Switch?
6 4 ReplyWe wanted 60fps mode for other systems, but a switch port is most definitely going to be the opposite of a 60fps mode was the point I think.
12 0 ReplyYou won't. That's the point.
4 0 Replythat's the sarcasm
4 0 ReplyI am not even sure about 30.... but there are miracles out there.
I would expect it to be for the new switch if anything, which is closer than ever.

why does the switch have better specs than ps3 but most games look like ps2
7 1 ReplyThis aint gonna run on more than 480p@20fps
4 0 ReplyHaha, Mortal Kombat 1 called, they want their money back!
5 1 ReplyI’m picturing they’re going to release a remastered version soon for next gen consoles.
If they could add an uncapped fps setting for the Series X, that’d be grrrreat.
2 0 ReplyHopefully they are. The game really deserves it with how big of a masterpiece it is.
2 1 ReplyI’m more annoyed they don’t just make the game Series X enhanced . They’ve become so greedy as a company. Even if they didn’t touch the visuals it would’ve been excellent
