  Ah yes, the very effective fighting for gun control that NO ONE pushes back on despite all our deaths, school shootings, etc. I keep thinking we have an entire political party that treats every restriction as a precursor to gun confiscation, what was I thinking while under that rock??!!

Complaining that America has some things right doesn't make sense.
- Pretty sure that the point OP is trying to make is that the equal rights of LGBTQ+ people should be as unassailable if not moreso than the right to ursine limbs.
  
  Dismissing other rights isn't the way to go though. It's not a zero sum thing, giving up guns doesn't get you other rights.
